WHAT IS RA17?

Run Alpha is a training event designed to help you share your faith with your friends. At RA17, we’ll explore running Alpha as a journey. Whatever stage of the journey you’re at, we’ll make sure you’ll get helpful, inspiring content tailored just for you. 

NEW TO ALPHA?

We’ll introduce you to the basics of running Alpha in your context. You’ll learn the history of Alpha, get some insight into the practical stuff of Alpha, and explore stories of Alpha’s impact across the world.

RUN ALPHA BEFORE?

Discover fresh, imaginative ways to build on your experience of running Alpha. From the invitation to training teams to the weekend, you’ll be equipped with practical tips on how to take Alpha in your context to the next level.

Speakers

Rachel Gardner Rachel is a youth activist, the President of the Girl’s Brigade and Relationship Lead at Youthscape. Bestselling author of a number of books for teens and young adults, Rachel is a keen campaigner on youth related issues and advocates for the church to speak loud and lovingly with young people about the power of healthy relationships. She’s married to Jason and they are raising their daughter and living for Jesus in North London.

Rachel Hughes Rachel has a background in television and media, and worked for the BBC in London before joining the staff at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) where she headed up the Creativity & Arts Department. Whilst at HTB, Rachel was involved in teaching and leading as well as pioneering a new ministry for mums called MOLO. Rachel has relished leading Gas Street Church alongside her husband, Tim, and is passionate about seeing God’s kingdom come in Birmingham.

Tim Chaddick Tim Chaddick is the founding pastor of Reality LA, a thriving church in the heart of Hollywood. He's since moved to London, where he now serves as the Lead Pastor for Reality Church London. These churches are a part of the Reality Church family, a movement committed to relational church planting and serving the broader body of Christ. Tim's first two books, 'Better: How Jesus Satisfies the Search for Meaning' and 'The Truth about Lies', were projects from lessons learned while living and leading a church in Los Angeles.
